How do I...?

To Enter the Chat:  Choose a username and click LOGIN.

Private Messages (PM's):  Want a 1-to-1 conversation? Clicking on a user's name in the online list opens a private chat box right inside the main window.  With that chat box open just type in the bottom text bar as usual.

Custom Statuses:  In the upper right hand corner click the (Green dot) "Available" status.  You can change your availability status on the fly to Online, Away, Occupied, Unavailable, or DND (Do Not Disturb).

Emojis & Stickers:  Chat supports full emoji sets and custom image stickers, which you can insert directly into the text bar.  Click on the "Sunglasses Smiley" to the left of the text bar.  Choose Emojis or Stickers (Classic, Deutsch, Ghosties or Modern)

The "Ignore" Feature:  If another chatter is being toxic or annoying, you can choose to mute/ignore them.  Click on their user name and click the "Eye" icon.  Their text will completely vanish from your screen.

The Magic Escape Key:  On a desktop, pressing the "ESC" key is a universal back-button. It instantly closes any open overlays, profile windows, or PM boxes and drops you back to the main chat panel.

Swiping & Dragging:  On a phone or tablet, a simple swipe from the left edge of your screen pulls open the main chat room and user directory panel.  Likewise, you can click on the Three Dots in the upper left hand corner of the chat room to open the panel.

Scroll Toggles:  If you double-click anywhere on the chat feed, it toggles your mouse between standard text-selection mode and "drag-to-scroll" mode.  (Great for quickly flying through long chat histories.)
